The Clerk's Office closures for the holidays are as follows:
- Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and Wednesday, December 25, 2024
Closed in observance of Christmas. The office will reopen on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
- Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 (closing at 3 PM), and Wednesday, January 1, 2025
Closed in observance of New Year's Day. The office will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah has issued General Order 24-002, updating presumptive attorney fee awards in Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. Effective January 1, 2025, the fees are revised based on case specifics, such as debtor income and plan payment amounts, ranging from $2,800 to $5,100. These fees will adjust biennially starting in 2027, tied to changes in the Consumer Price Index.

Please be advised that General Order 24-001 has been issued, formalizing the adoption of amended local rules. You can find the full text of the order and further details at the link below:
Effective December 1st, 2024, the Court's Local Rules of Practice have been amended and supersede all prior versions of the local rules and standing orders of the Court. The revised rules apply to all new and pending cases. You are strongly encouraged to read the summary of amended local rules and forms. Also amended are the U.S. District Court's Local Rules.
