The Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah offers limited electronic filing privileges to non-attorneys who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the "Electronic Case Filing Protocols" packet. With limited filing privileges, a user can electronically file Proofs of Claim, Notices of Transfer of Claim, Withdrawals of Claim, Reaffirmation Agreements, and Notices required by F.R.B.P. 3002.
To register for a CM/ECF account as a "Limited User-Claim Filer", complete pages 16-18 of "Electronic Case Filing Protocols and Registration Forms". Registration forms must be submitted with an original signature. Applicants may email bankruptcy_clerk@utb.uscourts.gov a registration form to obtain a CM/ECF account. The registration form with the original signatures must be mailed or delivered to the Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Utah, Attention: ECF System Registration, 350 South Main Street, Suite 301, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101 within 7 days. Failure to comply will result in termination of the applicant's CM/ECF account.
