The Office of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Clerk will be closed on Thursday, July 24th, 2025, in observance of the Utah State Pioneer Day holiday.

Salt Lake City, UT – June 27, 2025 (Release Date): The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit has announced the selection of Michael Thomson and David Leigh to fill upcoming vacancies on the bankruptcy bench for the District of Utah. Each appointment remains subject to successful completion of a background investigation.

Judge Marker has retired as of July 1st, 2025. Until Judge Marker’s cases are formally reassigned to another judge, they will continue to show on hearings calendars as assigned to him.

Judge Marker's Zoom Conference line will continue to be used for these hearings until each case is reassigned.
