The software training, support, and testing specialist position is part of our nationally supported CHAP project. CHAP is a Chambers calendaring program available for up to 350 bankruptcy court Chambers. The incumbent will conduct in-house and onsite training for CHAP end users and IT staff. The incumbent will develop, prepare, and update training aids, training materials, and on-the-job manuals in coordination with the technical writer. In addition to classroom training, the incumbent will utilize other training methods such as computer-based training, self-directed web training, web-based guided classrooms, and video presentations. The incumbent will also provide first-line customer support answering CHAP help desk calls, identifying issues or new functionality needed to address support calls, and write up detailed software change requests for the CHAP developers to use in modifying the software. If the change request is approved for implementation by the CHAP User Group, the incumbent will guide the change request through the agile development cycle, participate in software testing processes, and help ensure the new functionality is documented in the appropriate manuals. This position will require some travel.
Starting Salary Range: CL 27 $58,030 - $94,338 Starting salary commensurate with experience, education and qualifications.
